Imad is a civil engineer and concrete scientist with a focus on sustainable research and development. He did his PhD on the reuse of waste material from end-of-life tires into concrete for various applications. He did his Post-doc at the University of Sheffield studying hydration and temperature in concrete in the event of fire. Imad spent 2 years as a Design and Advanced Technology engineer at AtkinsRealis working on new build nuclear power plants and decommissioning retired plants.
