Dr. Michael Wise

Michael is a trained Chemical Engineer who started his career in the oil and gas industry. He has several publications on Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) having developed conceptual technologies for the oil and gas industry. Over the past decade, he has worked in start-ups, developing technologies ranging from gas transportation optimisation, development strategy and commercialisation. He is a scale-up specialist having led the R&D projects, piloting and scale-up of three start-up projects worth over £18 million. He has raised £7.9 million in commercial private funding. He is also currently a scale-up advisor at Imperial College London.
